    In order to participate in student teaching,

    Currently,
    I was assignedam working through my second year of teaching in a placement within a local Secondary School. Specifically,small rural school in the Alaskan Village of Kivalina. I was placed at New Kent High School, locatedhave a teaching certificate valid in the Courthouse area, along sidestate of Virginia, as well as an Initial Out-Of-State certificate in the County's Elementary and Middle Schools. New Kent County is a mainly rural community, however new commercial and residential locations are budding alongsidestate of Alaska. By the County's popular Interstate 64 Exits.
    For
    end of the 2015-2016 school year, I should receive my Practica experience (and soon studentofficial In-State Professional Certificate. My teaching work), I worked in aendorsements are for Social Studies classroom with a teacher familiar with her content for grades 6 through 12. Thus far, I have taught Geography, Alaska History, US History, Inupiaq Studies, and US Government. I am also the local community. The class load consisted of three 10th grade World Geography classes. Each class had between 12-30 students enrolledschool's Secondary Physical Education and were inclusive. This mixture and number of students allowed meCareer Trainer Education Teacher.

    In order to participate in student teaching, I was assigned a placement within a local Secondary School.     The following page from a daily lesson plan provides a box to outline basic differentiation for activities, content, and types of learners and highlights competency number 10, providing for individual differences . The accommodation (IEP/504/parental request) box is written in each lesson depending upon what activities are actually used and who is present in class. Most accommodations that had to be implemented throughout student teaching had little to do with planning, and more to do with instruction and interaction skills within the classroom. Most activities could be completed by someone who did not speak; sometimes, however, changes had to be made as in the artifact above. Graphic organizers were also incorporated into the class' work more often due to another student's accommodation. More often, however, small verbal reminders were given to most of the students that were a part of the classroom community, IEP/504/parental request or none.

    The Europe Unit Table of Specifications is a shorthanded version of the textbook version that can be found in Christopher Gareis' Assessment Book. In red, the left column outlines each SOL content topic covered in the unit and its specific skills requested. In blue next to each skill is a tentative activity planned for the class. Outlining the unit by using required SOLs and assessments to either formativiely or summatively assess or reinforce those SOLs makes sure to cover every aspect needed. Overall, it allows for competency 7, or selecting appropriate instructional strategies/activities aligned to instructional goals and responsive to diverse student needs. Separate TOS' can be created to differentiate advanced and general class activities and assessments. All plans laid out in one place allows for holes or lack of variation to be sought out or easily noticed and changed. The TOS also helps link homework and other assessments visually in a flow chart; assessments are written directly next to objectives, which are also grouped for easy narrow to broad perspective when planning. The TOS provides a checklist to run through when assessing the lesson for any bias or controversial issues concerning a unit's activity or content.
